Lionheart Radio is a community radio station, broadcasting to you on 107.3FM from the heart of Alnwick to much of North Northumberland.

What is Lionheart Radio and Media?
It is community venture with several objectives:

To provide the local community (Alnwick and surrounding towns and villages) with its own radio station - dedicated to providing entertainment & services to the community
To enable the local community to share information and experiences through other forms of media as well as radio – for example video, and web pages
To provide members of the local community with an opportunity to learn new skills and to participate in producing radio and media for the enjoyment and benefit of the community

Our ambition is to be recognised as vital and invaluable to your community – the first choice for finding out the latest on local news and events. We have been contacted in emergencies and asked to broadcast urgent news … which we have promptly done.

Who are Lionheart Radio and Media?

A small core team who run the venture and co-ordinate radio and media production
Volunteers from a broad cross-section of your community. Anyone (yes, really, anyone) can come along and contribute - presenting programmes, developing news items, recording local events, producing radio and video
