The 14 mile run is along the Northumberland coastal path from Beadnell Harbour to Alnmouth Estuary, keeping as close to the coast as possible.
This race is always a sell out so you need to move quickly if you want to take part.
THE MORPETH Harriers AGM will be held in Morpeth Rugby Clubhouse at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 8th March.
The Club's Officers and Committee will be elected at this meeting.
With some long-standing Committee members being forced to cut back on their involvement for health reasons, the need for new volunteers to make things happen is even more critical.
Details of the meeting will be displayed in the Clubhouse well in advance of the meeting.
BERWICK Bandits’ Forum have confirmed that they are to once again hold their Season Launch Season Party on March 5th,with a 7.30pm start.
The venue for the eagerly anticipated event is the Berwick Holiday Centre which proved such a popular venue last year with over 400 fans in attendance.
This year music will be provided by one of the premier cover bands in the UK today, ‘Riffler’.
A tremendous night’s entertainment is sure to be had by all once again.
The 2011 Bandits squad will be introduced to the Berwick public on the night, with all seven riders anticipated to be in attendance.

BERWICK Archers is organising a beginners course starting for the next two Sundays to offer an introduction to newcomers to the sport.
You don’t need any previous archery experience, just a keenness to learn and have a go.
The course is open to adults and juniors from 12-years old upwards and the all-abilities club welcomes people with physical or learning disabilities.
The club shoots at Longridge Towers School sports hall, probably the best indoor target archery venue in North Northumberland and the Borders, allowing shooting at competition distances up to 25 metres.
Outdoor shooting in the summer is at distances up to 90 metres.

TEAM Decathlon has announced the date of the Run Northumberland Half Marathon.
The event will take place on Sunday 27th March next year starting at 9.35am.
It’s a uniquely scenic rural half marathon set in beautiful countryside in the heart of Northumberland starting and finishing at Wallington.

A PAIR of cycling enthusiasts have formed a bike club in Alnwick.
The idea is the brainchild of Michael Curry and Paul Edgar, owners of the Cyclelife store, on Alnwick’s Lionheart Enterprise Park.
The club is to be split in half, for those looking to join either a mountain bike club or a road club.
Cyclelife will act as sponsors for the club as well as offer additional discounts in store for club members.

The Riverside Leisure Centre in New Market hosts the Morpeth Ju-Jitsu Martial Arts beginners' classes on Wednesday evenings.
The sessions are led by qualified coaches, with an emphasis on good, safe introductory training.
The session for children over six runs from 7pm to 8pm, and the adult class for both men and women takes place from 8pm to 9pm.
