The widow of a stalwart volunteer of Warkworth Drama Group is taking part in a 25-mile walk along Hadrian's Wall next weekend to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Stephanie Wilkinson, a home tutor, of Watershaugh Road, Warkworth, is being accompanied on the trek on Saturday and Sunday (11th and 12th September) by sons Ben and Matthew.

They are aiming to raise hundreds of pounds for this worthy cause in memory of Roger, who died earlier this year.
