Steve Marriott Tribute Show

On Saturday, 23rd April, our own Rhymin' Simon Brewis presented an all day Anniversary Tribute to the legendary Steve Marriott.

Probably the most definitive radio tribute show yet to the legendary ex- Small Faces / Humble Pie singer.

On air for 12 hours, the show will be repeated in weekly 3-hour "Overnights" on the four Saturdays in May.

• From the early years right through to his untimely demise in April 1991
  
• With excerpts from "Best Seat in the House", the book by Jerry Shirley (ex- Humble Pie drummer) about life with Steve
• Live conversations with Jerry Shirley, Chris Farlowe, Keith Altham (Humble Pie PR agent), Mick Eve (Steve's agent in latter years), Kofi Baker, Val Weedon (who worked in Don Arden's office), and many more
• Including some rarities, alternate versions, recorded interviews with Steve Marriott and additional conversations with Clem Clempson (Humble Pie guitarist), Jim Leverton (Steve's bass player for last 10 years), and Matt Bond (singer with the Small Fakers - Small Faces tribute band).
